When I was about 10 years old, my father showed
me how to work his 4x5 Speed Graphic camera. I've been making photographs ever since.
I graduated from Gordon College with a BS in physics and later studied art and photography
at Montserrat College of Art, The Art Institute of Boston, The Center for Photography in
Woodstock and The International Film and Television Workshops.
A background in science and twenty years of experience as a video engineer and computer
tinkerer have made the technical side of picture making somewhat easier for me,
particularly the digital stuff.
I live on Cape Ann in Massachusetts, which
is a great place to live if you're into making pictures.
I also play in the Walker Creek Band, just to maintain my insanity.
