I was in the midst of learning all the
traditional photography stuff when
somewhere around 1992 my
brother showed me what he was doing with Adobe Photoshop on his mac. I was
instantly convinced and have since been exploring all the ways to get pictures into and
out of this ultimate creative tool.
I don't often set out to create the images I end up with, they sort of get found somewhere
along the way. I enjoy creating images that intimate a story. Of course, I don't really
know what the story is... each person looking at the image has to make it up. A little
ambiguity always helps. A photograph can be like a single-frame movie... the rest of it
happens in your head. |
